CREATIVE SPRING WORK EXPERIENCE ESSENTIALS:

 


1. COMMUNICATION
• Engage with your audience.
• Be clear and concise; set the rules for all activities being especially mindful of newcomers.
• Facilitate or referee a session successfully, captivating and maintaining interest throughout.


2. CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Always smile and be approachable.
• Be kind.
• Always greet participants; make sure to say ‘Hi’ and ‘Bye’.


3. TIME MANAGEMENT
• Arrive 30 minutes prior to a session so that you can set up and prepare.


4. TEAMWORK
• Work with all the other volunteers and show initiative throughout all sessions.


5. ADAPTABILITY
• Think fast on your feet when the need arises.
• Successfully adapt and develop sessions and how you communicate depending on your audience;
age, ability, the volume of people etc.


6. ORGANISATION
• Be thorough with the session set up before and pack up after.
• Successfully organise participants into teams where necessary.


7. RESPONSIBILITY
• Always be respectful and kind to all who participate.
• Always be respectful and kind to your co-workers.
• Ensure the safety of all participants and co-workers at all times.
• Be mindful that you are representing Creative Spring at all times.
